This section shows the beginnings of the radio in a chronological and scientific order (with scientific instruments) and also the evolution from its origins: from Talete’s amber of 2500 years ago to present times. You can see all these instruments through guided tours, during which visitors can test and understand the use of radios and other means of communication. In the “prehistoric” section you can discover a primitive naval radio telegraph station and a transceiver station in fonia that equipped military aircrafts during World War I. Here the section dedicated to the first pioneer home radios begins.
